Today in our world everything we do is monitored. Even what we do on the internet is monitored by the NSA. Why do they do this? They do it to try to protect us from terrorists communicating online but the cost of this is giant. Today so much money is going in to funding their development if new technology to spy that it is taking away from other things that we can be doing, like paying depts, or building new roads. The reform that is needed is to give the NSA less money to do what they are doing right now.
        Are people overreacting about the NSA spying on us? In my opinion yes people are overreacting about this. Peole are most likely overreacting about this because they are scared it is taking away from their rights that they get because they live in America. I think that this is justified but in my opinion if keeping us safe means taking away a small right that we get, it is better that way.
        Even though the NSA is keeping us safe most people hate them and think they should be shut down. I think that while they are justified in their opinion it is not what should happen. They should be funded less by the government but should not be shut down. They are helping to protect America and should be kept around to keep doing their jobs.
